The ensemble Mruta Mertsi is a chamber choir specialized in improvisation and contemporary performance practices, created and led by André Pappathomas. For this event, they are joined by visiting choirs from 10 different nations, and in a celebration of what the world is through multiple styles of music from all of these cultures, they take to the stage in a spontaneous composition--and world premiere.
Part of the 20e Journées de la Culture, and brought to you in part by le Conseil des Arts de Québec.
